Pontus Aberg scored his first career Stanley Cup Playoffs goal in style with the game-winner in the Nashville Predators' 3-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks Saturday night to give them a 3-2 series lead in the Western Conference Final.
The 23-year-old laid out to score on a diving rebound for a 2-1 Nashville lead with 8:59 remaining in regulation for the game-winner.
Aberg was playing on the top line alongside Filip Forsberg and Colton Sissons with Ryan Johansen and Mike Fisher both out due to injuries.
Making his Stanley Cup Playoffs career debut was Aberg's former Milwaukee Admirals teammate Frederick Gaudreau, who was none too surprised by the clutch goal and chalked it up to "Pontus just being Pontus."

Game 6 will be played at Bridgestone Arena Monday with the Predators just one win away from making it to their first Stanley Cup Final in franchise history.
