Ryan Johansen did all the little things right in a Game 2 that added up to a 5-4 double-overtime victory for his Nashville Predators to even their second-round series against the Winnipeg Jets.
"You focus on the little things," Johansen spoke to reporters postgame. "You don't worry about the points or anything like that. You focus on the details as an individual that makes you the best player possible for your team and where you can help guys around you in their game and stuff. For me, it's going out there and doing the little things all the time consistently well and putting myself in position to have success."
Among said little things, Johansen (2-0–2) posted the first multi-goal game of his Stanley Cup Playoffs career while dominating the face-off circle with a 72.4% success rate over 29 draws. His first goal of the night was also quick on the draw.

Johansen earned the game's second star while leading Nashville forwards in ice time with 27:19, and scored his second goal of the game in style, by dancing around Winnipeg's Tobias Enstrom to break a 3-3 tie at the time.
With the series evened at one game apiece, the Western Conference Second Round now shifts to Winnipeg for Game 3, where puck drop is set for 8 p.m. ET Tuesday at Bell MTS Place.
