The Toronto-born defenceman netted his first goal of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs, and set a Nashville Predators' franchise record for points in a game by a defenceman in the 4-3 victory in St. Louis Wednesday.
Subban (1-2—3) was named the game's first star while helping his team extend the club's five-game postseason winning streak in the postseason. His three points tied his career high for points in a playoff game.
The Predators look to keep their hot streak going at Scottrade Center in Friday's Game 2 matchup.
