Brian Elliott picked up his first Stanley Cup Playoffs win with the Philadelphia Flyers to help even their series at one apiece. Elliott turned aside 34 of 35 shots he faced, including 31 consecutively.

Brian Elliott picked up his first Stanley Cup Playoffs win with the Philadelphia Flyers to help even their series at one apiece Friday night.

After a 7-1 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins in the series opener, the Flyers came storming back with a 5-1 victory backed by Elliot, who made 31 of his 34 saves on the night consecutively.

"Moose" earned the game's second star for his performance, which included a show-stopping denial of Penguins captain Sidney Crosby breakaway. 

The series moves to Philadelphia for Game 3 Sunday with puck drop at 3 pm ET.
