NHL & NHLPA REACH AGREEMENT ON EXTENDING DEADLINE FOR DECISION ON KOVALCHUK CONTRACT

TORONTO - NEW YORK (Sept. 1, 2010) - The National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association today mutually agreed to extend the deadline by which the League must reach a decision on thecontract between the New Jersey Devils and Ilya Kovalchuk until 5:00 p.m. ET Friday, Sept. 3.
