As Bo Horvat approached his 10th NHL game, he knew that the Canucks had a tough decision to make; send him back to junior or secure his spot on the Vancouver Canucks roster. Head coach Willie Desjardins decided to have some fun with the occasion at the Canucks' Tuesday morning practice.

After showing Bo one of his less-than-stellar game clips in the room with the rest of his teammates, Desjardins and the other coaches followed that up by showcasing a clip more worthy of the player Horvat can be. Desjardins then asked Horvat which player he intended to be, to which Bo obviously replied the one in the second clip.

After a brief tense moment, Desjardins finally welcomes Bo to the NHL as a full member of the Canucks team. Following the coaches announcement, Bo is congratulated by his Canucks teammates, showing the bond and camaraderie that exists between all NHL players. With the applause, hand shakes, and fist bumps winding down, Horvat seems to be genuinely soaking in the moment. After years of blood, sweat, and tears, he has made it! It’s a special moment to witness. Enjoy!
