2013 Conn Smyth Trophy winner and Stanley Cup champion Patrick Kane made an appearance on the iconic Late Show With David Letterman on Wednesday night.
During his interview, Kane talked about the difference between regular season hockey and playoff hockey, what he plans to do with the Cup this year, including a possible return trip to see Jimmy Buffet, something he did with hockey’s ‘Holy Grail’ back in 2010, the last time the ‘Hawks captured Lord Stanley’s Cup.
At the end of the interview, Letterman hands Kane the Cup and tells him to walk out on Broadway to hoist it in the air. No sooner does he raise his arms does he get hosed with water.
