Eric Staal on Advice for Hockey Parents

Eric Staal’s mother and father are seasoned hockey parents. They’ve raised four boys who made it into the NHL. That’s a lot of equipment, a lot of early morning practices, a lot of driving to tournaments, and a lot of feelings to help your children cope with. The eldest brother of the four explains how his parents managed to keep him and his siblings on track mentally to achieve their goals.

Every week we'll share the best of our Allstate All-Canadians videos and articles featuring NHL players. For more interviews plus tips on nutrition, training, mental game, and life skills visit AllCanadians.com.
