Kasperi Kapanen put in another clutch performance to help Toronto even their First Round series against the Washington Capitals with a double-overtime game-winner in a 4-3 victory Saturday night.

Kapanen notched his first NHL goal this season on April 8 to help the Maple Leafs clinch a playoff berth.

Saturday's goals were just the second and third (both regular and postseason) of his young career.

It appears that Kapanen has a knack for performing in high-pressure situations, having scored the overtime game-winner for Finland at the 2016 World Junior Championship.

The series moves to Toronto for Game Three on April 17.
