In The Locker Room - 2013 Compressed Schedule

NHLPA.com went 'In The Locker Room' with the Leafs and Penguins recently to discuss some of the issues prevalent in the league this season.

With the season not kicking off until late January due to the owners' lockout, all 30 teams are playing a compressed 48-game regular season schedule this season, prior to the Stanley Cup playoffs.

NHLPA.com asked players from both the Leafs and the Penguins about the compressed schedule, how it is affecting them individually, as well as how it impacts the approach of the team overall. Watch as players like John-Michael Liles, Ben Scrivens, James Neal and Brandon Sutter give their opinions on this topic.

Check back with NHLPA.com soon to check out the second installment of this 'In The Locker Room' series: The Race to the Playoffs.
