Following the NHL presenting a counterproposal to the NHLPA on Thursday evening, the NHLPA spent Friday reviewing the almost 300-page document. On Saturday and Sunday, NHLPA staff conducted a series of conference calls with NHL staff to obtain clarification on the details of the league’s proposal.
The sides are scheduled to meet on Monday at the league’s New York office to resume collective bargaining.
