They don't call him "Scorey Perry" for nothing.

Corey Perry scored his third overtime goal of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thursday in a 3-2 win for Anaheim as the Ducks evened their Western Conference Final series against the Nashville Predators in Game 4.

In the 26th occurrence of overtime this postseason, the Ducks fought back hard after surrendering a 2-0 lead to the Predators late in the third period.

Perry had five shots on goal over 21:26 of ice time as he put away the game-winner with a deflection off of a Nashville defender.

“I was just trying to create traffic or create a bounce and create havoc in front,” Perry said to reporters postgame. “And that’s what they say in overtime: You throw it on net, never know what’s going to happen.”

With the marker, Perry matched the NHL record for most overtime goals in a single postseason (Mel Hill in 1939, also Maurice Richard in 1951).

Perry has now scored in back-to-back games, and with his overtime winner, ended the Predators' 10-game home winning streak at Bridgestone Arena.

The series heads to Anaheim tied 2-2 with the puck dropping on Game 5 at Honda Center Saturday.
