While Canadians currently represent 51.1 percent of all NHLPA currently on a roster, one province’s contributions to the sport shine the brightest. Per capita, Saskatchewan has produced more current players than any other province or state in North America. Budweiser Canada decided to acknowledge the talent that has and continue to come out of the prairie province by paying homage to the players and people of Saskatchewan in a new ad entitled, ‘Saskatchewan, the home of goal scorers.’

The spot opens by reminding viewers that hockey legends Gordie Howe, Johnny Bower, and Bryan Trottier all hail from Saskatchewan, and the talent the province produces remains prolific today, Featured in the video are Jeff and Rita Schenn – parents of NHLPA members Luke and Brayden Schenn – who represent two of the current Saskatchewan-born players in the league.
