Certified Player Agents

The National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) requires player agents to complete an Agent Certification Program. This program governs the standards of professional conduct and education that an agent must continually maintain, and enables agents to demonstrate their ability to provide appropriate representation. Certification by the NHLPA through the Agent Certification Program is mandatory for individuals to be recognized as a player representative.
