Henrik Zetterberg has grown steadily and quickly into a superstar for the Detroit Red Wings. The centre, who is treated like a rock star in Sweden, has been dazzling fans in Motown and driving opposing defenders crazy with his array of quick moves and deft hands. Zetterberg’s abilities will be on full display as the Red Wings and Stars begin their battle for the Western Conference title.

NO ‘STAAL’ING ON THE ROAD TO THE CUP
Rivalries between brothers can be very intense. Imagine, for a moment, what it must have been like for Jordan Staal to watch his brother, Eric hoist the Stanley Cup. As happy and proud as he was, the image of his brother with the Cup ignited a fire within Jordan that can only be put out by accomplishing the same dream. So far, Jordan has helped guide the Pens to the Eastern Conference final and is definitely looking to take his dream one step further.
DYNAMIC DUO TAKING CHICAGO BY STORM
When the Chicago Blackhawks drafted both Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane, they hoped that in the future they would play a huge role on and off the ice in Chicago. In 2007-08, that dream was realized as both of the young stars were huge parts of the Blackhawks re-birth both on the ice and in the Chicago community. With these two Calder Trophy nominees, the future looks bright in the Windy City.
IGINLA, MALKIN, OVECHKIN NAMED PEARSON FINALISTS
The NHLPA announced that Alexander Ovechkin, Evgeni Malkin and Jarome Iginla are the finalists for the 2007-08 Lester B. Pearson Award, recognizing the “most outstanding player” during the regular season, as voted by members of the NHLPA.
